1. This Socotra tour is exclusively for the summer season from July to September.
2. Considering the hot weather during this period, most of the nights in the itinerary will be arranged to stay in hotels for your comfort. If you can adapt to high-temperature conditions and are eager for a more natural experience, you can choose to camp in tents instead of staying in hotels. The corresponding cost will also be reduced.

Your Socotra tour will depart from Cairo, transfer via Aden, and finally arrive at Socotra Island. Upon arrival at Socotra, you will experience the tranquility and primitive charm of the island.
Afterwards, you will head to Delisha Beach, where you can relax and take a walk. Step on the sprawling beach and feel the comfort of the sea breeze. In the evening, enjoy the sunset shining on the sea.

The next day, the tour to Socotra will head to the Homhil Protected Area. This is one of the most representative attractions on the island of Socotra. The huge Socotra Desert rose (also known as the bottle tree) grows from a crevice in the rocks, with a massively swollen trunk and sparse branches and leaves. You can observe up close and feel the magical shaping power of nature.
Then, head to the natural small swimming pool. This small pool offers clear water, and the surrounding rocks form a natural barrier, making it perfect for swimming and relaxation. You can also enjoy the breathtaking sea view in the distance.
Continue to Arher Beach in the afternoon, known for its white sand dunes reaching up to 200 meters high and emerald green seawater. This is one of the Socotra beaches with few people and a quiet atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy leisure time or climb the stunning sand dunes.

On the third day of your Socotra adventure tour, start your journey at Hoq Cave, which is a natural cave system on Socotra Island. The interior space of the Hoq Cave is spacious, with stalactites and stalagmites scattered in a staggered manner. There are still inscriptions and murals painted by the people of Socotra Island from the past on the cave walls.
In the afternoon, you will head to Dihamri Marine Reserve, which boasts rich marine biodiversity and is an excellent spot for snorkeling (provided the weather is good). Dihamri Marine Reserve is home to a variety of corals, fish, turtles, and other marine creatures. You can snorkel or scuba dive to experience the wonderful scenery of Socotra's underwater world. Or you can take a stroll along the coast to admire the striking red volcanic rock formations.

Today, you will head to Kalysan Canyon, where you can enjoy the unique rock formations and wilderness scenery of Socotra along the way. The Kalysan Canyon has rugged terrain. While hiking through the magnificent canyon, you might come across some Socotra Desert Roses that are rooted in the rock walls.
When you reach the emerald-colored lake, you can also experience jumping into the pool water from the surrounding white cliffs. In the scorching heat of 35 degrees Celsius, Kalysan Canyon is truly an ideal place for cool swimming.

On the fifth day, the itinerary on Socotra Island continues to explore the interior of the island. Today, your first stop is Dirhur Canyon. The canyon is deep and resembles a different world. Dirhur Canyon is home to lush palm groves and desert roses. There is a natural freshwater pool here, which is also an ideal place for swimming.
Next, you will continue to the Dragon Blood Tree Forest. The Dragon Blood Tree is one of the most iconic landscapes on Socotra Island. The Dragon Blood Trees look like huge umbrellas. If the trunk is damaged, the deep red resin will flow out, which is very peculiar.
Tonight, you will have the experience of spending time with the Dragon Blood Trees in the wilderness and immersing yourself in the Milky Way in an environment free from light pollution.

In the morning, you will head to Amoak Beach first. The seawater here has a clear turquoise color. A continuous stretch of pristine white sand beaches and the clear and crystal clear waters come together. Continue exploring the Zahek Sand Dunes, an ideal location for hiking and photography in sandy areas.
In the afternoon, venture to Dagub Cave, a large limestone cave on the southern coast of Socotra Island, which is easily accessible. At the entrance, there is a panoramic view of the distant ocean and sand dunes. Inside Dagub Cave, there are complex rock formations and naturally formed stalactites.

Today, you will take a small boat out of Qalansiya and follow the group of wild dolphins. You will arrive at Shuab Beach, a secluded paradise with white sandy beaches, emerald waters, and magnificent coastal cliffs.
In the afternoon, head to the breathtaking Detwah Lagoon, which boasts clear water, stunning white sandbars, and a wide variety of wildlife. Sometimes you can see the endemic bird habitats of Socotra Island on Detwah Lagoon. Detwah Lagoon is a great place for photography and bird watching.
