Upon your arrival at Socotra Airport, the driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the first stop, the Detwah Lagoon. Your Socotra tour starts here.
Reach the Detwah Lagoon, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, to appreciate the turquoise water, white sand beach, and striking sandbar. Head to the campsite to enjoy lunch and take a break.
Follow the tour guide to continue the tour at around 3:00 PM. Hike up the 400-meter hill to discover Socotra Desert Rose, also known as Bottle Tree. Admire the stunning coastline, stretching more than 10 km, and soak in the sunset moment.
Camp overnight near the Detwah Lagoon's beach and fall asleep with the soothing sound of waves.
Kind Reminder:
1. An expedition is required on the way to the hill for Bottle Trees and the sandbar views. About 2-4 hours are needed for a round trip.
2. The rocky road is steep, and the hike is strenuous. Therefore, it is quite necessary to fully consider if your physical conditions allow you to do it. The hike is not recommended for people who have underlying health conditions or do not exercise.
3. Prepare yourself with a headlamp used on the return trip.

Head to Qalansiya Village at 7:00 AM. Then take a boat to Shoab Beach to explore Socotra's marine life and unique bird species. Catch a glimpse of dolphins jumping out of the water on the way to the beach.
Visit Abdullah Al-Salim Ellai's cave, who is a caveman in Detwah Lagoon of Socotra. If he is home, listen to him telling the story about protecting the marine ecological environment. You will get a chance to let him take you to catch fresh oysters and scallops.
Back to camp for lunch and rest in the afternoon.
Travel to Diksam Plateau to embark on your Socotra Dragon Blood Tree exploration. Venture deep into Wadi Dirhur and wander through the Firmihin Dragon's Blood Tree Forest. Admire the magnificence of the last Dragon Blood Tree Forest on Earth.
Camp in the Dragon's Blood Tree Forest in the evening, if the weather permits. For your safety, it will be moved to other campsites when it is rainy or windy.
Kind Reminder:
1. Dolphins belong to the wildlife. Whether you see them or not depends on the weather and sea conditions of the day.
2. You need to hike to reach the cave and to get back to the campsite, as it is not accessible by boat due to the shallow beach.

Drive 2 hours and hike about 20 minutes to Wadi Kalysan Canyon. Unlock a unique experience through swimming and diving in the turquoise water.
At noon, arrive at the campsite in Homhil Protected Area, a park rich in Socotra Desert Roses and Cucumber Trees. Lunch and break here.
Deep into the Homhil Protected Area to discover Bottle Trees and enjoy a swim in the Infinity Pool at the end of the park.

After having breakfast, set off on your tour to Dihamri Marine Reserve, a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts and swimming lovers. Here, you can explore the magical marine ecosystem and colorful coral reefs under crystal-clear water.
Back to the campsite near the Dihamri Marine Reserve to have lunch and take a lunch break after going out to sea.
Head to Erissel, the easternmost end of Socotra Island, to soak in the expansive panorama of the Indian Ocean and find the meeting place of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Sea. Also, you can catch a glimpse of the whale skeletons.
Then go to the Arher Beach, the highest sand dunes on Socotra. Hike the white dunes and capture the stunning views. Finally, leave for the Hadibu, the largest town and the capital of Socotra. Get a taste of authentic native culture, and take a stroll to get some souvenirs from the local markets.
Check into the hotel in Hadibu at night and prepare for the return journey the next day. We will make a reservation at the Summerland Hotel, the best hotel in Hadibu Town. If it is booked solid, we will arrange the second-best hotel for you.

Arrange your return journey in the morning. Gather at the hotel after having breakfast. Depart from Hadibu and transfer to the Socotra Airport. Say goodbye to the Socotra Island tour and bring unforgettable memories home.
