Itinerary
Today you will arrive in Aden and begin exploring this port city with a long history. Your Yemen tour starts at the famous Sira Fortress. This historic coastal fort was built on the cliffs of the shore, where you can admire ancient walls, defensive structures, and the magnificent views of the port of Aden.
Next, you will visit the historic district of Crater, where you can learn about the culture of Aden. As one of the oldest urban areas in Aden, it preserves traditional markets, historical buildings, and the daily life scenes of locals.
Next, head to the Tawila Cisterns, one of Aden's most significant engineering and historical landmarks. Then, proceed to Steamer Point, an ideal spot for exploring remnants of the British colonial era and enjoying the scenery of the Gulf of Aden.

After breakfast, take a flight to Mukalla to explore its long-standing commercial tradition and rich historical heritage.
Upon arrival, you will visit Al-Ghwayzi Fortress, renowned for its unique location and traditional defensive architecture. From the fortress, you can capture panoramic views of Mukalla City and the Arabian coastline.
At noon, travel to the hotel to check in. In the afternoon, continue to explore the downtown of Mukalla and the local market. You can witness the daily life of the local people and experience the culture of Hadhramaut. In the evening, head to the coastal area to enjoy the stunning Arabian Sea sunset.

After breakfast, drive to the famous Wadi Doan, known for its spectacular canyon landscapes, traditional mud-brick architecture, and well-preserved villages. On the way, you will visit Hawfah Village and experience a peaceful atmosphere far from the city.
Then you will head to the famous Haid Al-Jazil village, which is renowned for its traditional settlement built on the top of a huge rocky cliff. It is one of the most favorite tourist spots in Yemen for photography enthusiasts.
Afterwards, visit the brightly-colored Buqshan Palace. Unlike traditional mud-brick buildings in the surrounding area, Buqshan Palace has rich decorative colors. You can learn about the culture of the Hadramaut merchant family and the architectural art of the palace.

Today you will continue to explore Wadi Doan. Stop at Al Hajarayn, which is located on the canyon rock and is famous for its mud-brick buildings, valley oases, and ancient village landscapes.
Afterwards, head to the world-renowned ancient city of Shibam. Shibam is known as the 'Manhattan of the Desert' and boasts one of the world's most famous mud-brick high-rise buildings. These densely arranged mud-brick buildings have a history of hundreds of years and are also the most representative cultural heritage landscape in Yemen.
Visit the interior of the traditional mud-brick house and climb to the roof to enjoy the panoramic view of the ancient city. Then you will have some free time to explore the local antique shops and handicraft stores, and get insight into the local traditional craftsmanship.

After breakfast, you will drive to Seiyun and visit the Sultan Al Kathiri Palace and Museum. This palace showcases the history of the dynasty in the Hadhramaut region and traditional architectural features. Afterwards, visit the local market of Seiyun and experience traditional commercial culture.
Then continue to visit Tarim, one of the most important historical cities in Hadhramaut. Renowned for its religious education and historical buildings, Tarim has produced numerous religious scholars.
Visit the Al Muhdhar Mosque Minaret, a striking, white mud-brick tower. Next, you will explore the Seven Domes in Aynat and the Tomb of Prophet Hud, which holds religious significance.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will head to Seiyun, the final destination of this Yemen tour. You will explore the Seiyun local market and visit the Al-Fales Historical Fortress, a traditional defensive structure in the Hadhramaut region.
